Our pattern makers reproduced this gate from photographs taken of antique examples near Galashiels in the Scottish Borders. The original drawings can be found in the Macfarlane Castings Catalogue of 1882. Pattern number 809. The Colwyn is reproduced with the homeowner in mind and will create an elegant entry gate for any traditional cottage or garden.
